Hydrogen and disabled equipment – now possible!
AMF-Bruns is one of the first companies to adapt a hydrogen-powered vehicle for the disabled.
The future of mobility is not yet completely clear: so far, electric vehicles have not been able to fully meet the needs of conventional internal combustion engines, which is why hydrogen-powered vehicles are becoming increasingly important on the market.
AMF-Bruns is focusing on emission-free mobility. Since 2020, the company has been offering electric vehicle conversion solutions.
In cooperation with Stellantis Motor Group, the following hydrogen-powered vehicles – Citroën SpaceTourer, Fiat Scudo and Opel Zafira – as well as the Peugeot Traveller – can be fitted with a rear floor cutout.
The cutout rear floor with built-in ramp provides space for up to seven passengers or five passengers and one space for disabled people. According to the manufacturer, the hydrogen-powered vehicle can travel up to 400 km.
The first project, which will convert 150 vehicles, has already been completed in France.
